Tantalus Studio was hired to transform this oceanfront home’s previously very heavy and dark interior to be more harmonious with the client’s light and minimal aesthetic.

The design team created a unified scheme of honed limestones and travertines, subtle plaster, wire brushed oak and teak wood tones to create a feeling of calmness throughout the spaces.  Clean lines and silhouettes in both the custom millwork and furniture designs, paired with light fabrics and touches of organic weaves and fibers help to create a harmonious palette. The blend of warm neutrals throughout the interior allow the luminous greens and blues of the landscape and ocean to draw your eye towards the horizon.
